"Cumil" otherwise known as the Man at Work is a famous bronze statue in the centre of Bratislava in Slovakia. So popular is the statue that you are likely to be attracted by the crowds surrounding the statue before you see the man himself.
Who is this famous man?
Cumil is the most notable and popular character in Bratislava. The statue by the sculptor Viktor Hulik poked his head out of the street back in 1997. Since then countless numbers of visitors have stopped to say hello and have their photograph taken alongside this famous landmark.
Where can you find Cumil in Bratislava?
Cumil is located in the old town of Bratislava between the streets of Laurinská and Panská. While you are there explore the nearby attractions such as St Michaels gate.
